SD8 Learning Fair

Yesterday afternoon, our EPortfolio team attended the School District #8 (Kootenay Lake) Learning Fair to share our learning with other teams from across the district.The format was infomal; we shared with teams fromLV Rogers and Salmo Secondary at discussion tables. Where We've Been, Where We're Going.

It began as a conversation with fellow colleagues about engaging our upcoming grade 7 students in their learning. This was last June, the end of the school year. Part of the inspiration came from Rockridge Secondary, and the learning logs which helped facilitate student ownership and responsibility for their assignments.
